This bird can learn to mimic the alarm calls of many bird species and small animals (e.g., Meerkats etc.)  so as to scare them away and steal their prey.

It is very aggressive and will even mob birds of prey and large cats e.g., Leopards etc. In the ‘event’ above where there were bees around the 10th / 17th greens at Zwartkop Country Club, it shows photos of a Greater Honeyguide who tried to ‘guide’ me down the fairway.
