Information sent out in December 2018 on the ‘Rare bird alert’.  Previous sighting by www.ebedesbirds was in April 1991.  It generally forages in deeper water than the Bar-tailed Godwit,  thus difficult to get close for good photographs.  It  associates with other birds and in our case – Coots.
